A shooting has been reported at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., according to NBC Connecticut.
State police have told Newtown Patch there are possibly two shooters and the suspect's car appears to be in the parking lot.

State police are saying one shooter is dead and reports of a second shooter are still unconfirmed, according to The Hartford Courant.
Police confirmed to the Courant there are multiple shooting victims.
While police haven't confirmed who or how many people were shot, a witness told News 8 she saw one child with a bloody face and another with a hand injury.
Police carried one child who was "apparently seriously wounded" from the school, The Newtown Bee is reporting.
A person in one room had "numerous gunshot wounds," police told Fox Connecticut. And NBC Connecticut is tweeting three people were taken from the school by ambulance to Danbury Hospital. Reuters' Matthew Keys is tweeting that as many as four adults were injured in the shooting.
An unidentified student told WVIT she heard "lots" of gunshots.
All students have been cleared from the school, according to Keys.
Police are "questioning a handcuffed suspect in connection with the Newtown school shooting," the Connecticut Post tweeted.
A witness told the News Times' Libor Jany that a man "was led out of the woods by police in handcuffs."
The shooting was reported at 9:41 a.m.

The Hartford Courant tweeted there were "groups of students, some crying being escorted away from the school."
The News Times' Libor Jany, @ljanyNT, tweeted this picture of the scene, adding that "frantic parents are streaming onto the scene."
Afternoon kindergarten at the school has been cancelled and there will be no mid-day bus runs, @nycsouthpaw tweeted.
The Superintendent of Schools has put all district schools on lockdown, according to Walshe.
State police are on the scene and students are being evacuated.
